JarLab
Every jar test and lab result in one record, so the next treatment decision starts from evidence.
JarLab is Archer Separation’s jar test and water analysis platform. Import lab reports from any lab, log your jar tests, find the chemistry that worked on similar waters, and issue permit-checked treatment reports.

Why jar testing needs a record
Results get lost
Jar tests live in notebooks and spreadsheets, lab reports in email. When the water changes, last year’s answer is hard to find.
Chemistry is guessed
A new water usually starts from a supplier’s favourite product, not from what worked on similar waters.
Reports take days
Turning a bench session into a recommendation a plant manager will sign means retyping numbers and checking them by hand.
JarLab fixes all three. Every water, every jar and every dose goes into one consistent record, and the record does the comparing, checking and reporting.
From lab report to recommendation
Import
Lab reports from any lab as PDF or CSV, plus jar test spreadsheets.
Review
Every value is checked against the source document; nothing is saved until a person approves it.
Find chemistry
Matches a new water to the most similar past waters and ranks the chemical programmes that worked.
Report
Jar test report, water analysis and treatment recommendation as PDF or Word.

One row per jar
Each beaker records its chemical programme, the pH move, readings before and after, removal, alkalinity used and cost per cubic metre. JarLab marks the best removal and the most cost-effective jar, and keeps the settling series for each jar.
The water, on record
A water analysis holds every parameter the lab reported, profiled against every other water on record, so a new sample is compared with real history instead of memory.

See the chemistry
- Dose-response curves
- Chemical programme by pH
- Water-profile radar
- Settling curves with a 95 % confidence band
Know it will comply
- Alkalinity budget and coagulant sludge yield
- Permit limits for TSS, turbidity, FOG, BOD and pH at your residence time
- pH trim dose and cost calculator
Pick the right programme
- The recommendation states the cost premium over the cheapest compliant option
- Declines to answer when the evidence is too thin
Reports you can hand to a client

Find chemistry
A new water matched on up to forty parameters against everything on record, with the programmes that worked there.

Treatment recommendation
One programme to run, a chemically different fallback, and the evidence behind both.
A running DAF is a jar test that never stops
JarLab reads your DAF telemetry from our remote monitoring, finds steady operating periods, and compares bench results with full-scale chemical use and cost.
A day of plant operation gets the same report as a bench session, so what the plant actually dosed sits beside what the jars predicted.

Who uses JarLab
Plant operators and managers
One place for every jar test and lab result on your plant, and a recommendation you can act on and defend.
Chemical and service providers
Bench work for many clients in one record, with each organisation seeing only its own facilities.
Engineers and consultants
Treatability evidence for DAF, clarifier and dewatering design, with the source data behind every figure.
The numbers stay yours
- AI drafts the wording; it never touches the numbers, and automatic checks hold back any text that misquotes a figure
- Access by invitation; each organisation sees only its own facilities

The jar test that never stops
A running DAF publishes everything the bench writes down. Read as steady-state windows tied to the lab analysis of the water it treated, the plant and the jar test sit in one record and check each other.
Ask for a demo
Send a recent lab report and your last jar test sheet; we load them into JarLab and walk you through it.
See it on your own water
Send us a recent lab report and your last jar test sheet. We will load them into JarLab and walk you through the record, the chemistry match and the report in a short online demo.
Screens and reports shown use demonstration data.
